Man Arrested After Telling Kids That Santa Claus Isn’t Real
Apparently, real life "Scrooges" DO exist.
A man in Cleburne, Texas was arrested this past weekend for allegedly telling a bunch of children that Santa Claus doesn't exist.
Aaron Urbanski, 31, was arrested outside the St. Mark United Methodist Church Of Cleburne, during the church's, annual "Breakfast with Santa", fundraiser.
Urbanksi, along with two other men, were reportedly yelling at kids that, "Santa wasn't real", while they were protesting the event. When police arrived on the scene and encountered the trio, the two men with Urbanski left after being ordered by police. However, Urbanski refused and was ultimately charged with criminal trespassing.
According to reports, two men holding signs confronted Heather Johnson, a mother of four, as she was walking into the church and asked, "Do you let your kids believe in a fake Santa or do they know who Jesus is?” Johnson asked the men not to ruin Santa and Christmas for her children, and the protesters responded with,"Santa is not real", and that she was "wrong" for teaching her children that he was.
