Man Marries a…. Hologram?

Well, this is something I wouldn't have expected.

We take you to the Land of The Rising Sun, Japan. Where a marriage was taking place! But not the marriage you normally witness. Akihiko Kondo, the husband-to-be, was ready. He walked down the aisle, probably nervous, and joined his bride at the altar. The vows were said, and the rings given. And who was Mr. Kondo married to? Well...it was a hologram.

Yes, you read that right. A hologram. Techspot reports the Akihiko spent over 17,000 dollars to make the ceremony happen! While the ceremony did happen however, the nuptials aren't actually official. Mother Kondo also doesn't approve of this marriage. But Kondo is happy with his decision.

Certainly something I wouldn't do however!
