Pets Lost in Tuscaloosa, Alabama: Metro Animal Shelter Needs Our Help

I'll be the first person to tell you how much I love Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. Taking care of strays is no easy task. But I've visited and even helped out at TMAS, and I learned recently that they need help with finding owners for lost pets.

One of my friends introduced me to Metro back when I was a sophomore at the University of Alabama, where I ended up volunteering in my spare time. She even named a dog after me. For what reason you ask?

The dog was full of energy and reminded her of me, and what can I say, as silly as it sounds, it meant a lot.

Recently on Facebook, Metro posted photos of lost animals that have arrived at the shelter. To say the least, the word to get out and hopefully find the right owners to these special cats and dogs.

If one of these pets is yours, you will have to provide proof of ownership of the dog or cat. Items such as pictures or vet records will help. Some of these animals really need the love and attention they deserve like this sad pup here:

Never in my life have I ever wanted to just give this pup all the love it deserves.

I encourage everyone that if you going to get a pet for your family to adopt from Metro Animal Shelter. Your life will be better, as someone who had a silly little pup named Ace, who we adopted and was the best dog ever.

We ever shared middle names, because I was the only one who had a unique middle name in my family.
