Excitement was in the air in Foster Auditorium as the Alabama men's and women's basketball program celebrated Tide Tipoff 2021. Shooting contests, skills competitions and James Spann stimulated the Crimson Tide faithful who are excited for the new season to get started.
Alabama freshman guard Joshua Primo was selected No. 12 overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2021 NBA Draft. Primo's selection gives the Alabama Crimson Tide its second first round lottery draft pick in two years following Kira Lewis's selection in last year's draft.

Former 5-star guard in the 2020 recruiting class has transferred to Alabama from Texas Tech. Nate Oats hauls in another 5-star McDonald's All-American, making it a three headed monster in the back-court. Burnett joins the other All-Americans on the Crimson Tide with, Jahvon Quinerly and 2021 recruit J.D. Davison. This is now the second addition to the 2021 roster this week for Oats.
