The Miami Dolphins released former first round pick Josh Rosen this week, opening up room for rookie Tua Tagovailoa to step into the backup job.

The Miami Dolphins held their first team scrimmage this week, and with the first team offense came Tua Tagovailoa. Tua was forced to step in for Ryan Fitzpatrick after the 15-year vet had to exit the scrimmage due to the passing of his mother earlier in the day.

Former Crimson Tide quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, is putting down roots in his new home city. Drafted fifth overall in the 2020 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins, Tagovailoa has purchased a home in South Florida.
