Local cuisine in Tuscaloosa is just something unique isn't it? Certainly it's what makes part of Tuscaloosa the City of Champions. But some food items you just can't take home with you.

That's why I'm so thankful you can take home specialty items like Dreamland BBQ sauce. Because let's be real that sauce is ELITE with anything. But what if you're not feeling barbeque? Well how about Mexican?

As it turns out, our friends at Jalapeno's Mexican Grill have got us covered. The restaurant made the awesome decision to put out their Fajita Gumbo for sale. And at Piggly Wiggly too!

I would imagine that these little tubs are going to sell fast, so getting them quickly would be in your best interest. But this also has me thinking. What other Tuscaloosa food staples should be sold in stores?

Obviously anything Dreamland related besides the sauce should be sold. I think my little sister Lola Paradise would love to buy banana pudding in a store near her. Also I'm thinking I'd love to have a gooey fries kit from Baumhower's in store.

Also let's talk, because folks like me really don't know how to mix drinks. That's why some type of yellowhammer mix from Galletes would be clutch. It'd also be perfect for those gamedays when you don't want to deal with traffic trying to get the coveted drink.

One other thing, could we get that Central Mesa Guac in a jar and sell it? I think everybody at station would buy it out. That or the ability to make the Avenue Pub Chicken bites anytime.

Let me know if I missed any special foods in Tuscaloosa that need a home made version. All of a sudden I want a Taco Mama Taco kit too...
