United Kingdom Teenager Selling Squirts Of Hand Sanitizer

I’ve been emphasizing to family and friends not to panic with the news of the coronavirus.  According to the BBC, “the coronavirus outbreak has been labeled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).”  I have also been stressing to them to be cautious and smart about what they do and how they do it.  This coronavirus just leads us to all too stressful situations.  And when people are stressed, they sometimes cannot make such wise choices.  Now, there are people taking advantage of this stressful time which is upsetting to me.  According to USA Today, “that includes one teenager in the United Kingdom, who was suspended from school for the day for selling “squirts” of hand sanitizer to his friends at Dixons Unity Academy in Leeds.”  This teenager is selling a squirt of hand sanitizer for sixty-four cents.  Even though according to USA Today, “In all, he made just over $11 from his little grift.”  I just hope that there doesn’t become a long list of others who try to take advantage of others during this coronavirus time.  If you need to make your own hand sanitizer.  Click here, for a great story about a DIY hand sanitizer.
