Putting an Age Limit on Coffee Sales?
Well, not exactly. But there is one company in the UK that is trying to limit caffeine to young ones.
Coasta Coffee, a company that specializes in aforementioned drink, is trying cut down on selling coffee to their younger customers. A ban has been instituted which outlaws selling coffee to customers under 16. It is uncertain however which stores will actually follow the ban.
Accordingly to the Daily Mail, The ban was put into place to cut down on the sugars young children intake daily. Even supermarkets have started to refuse selling energy drinks to young children as the health risks have become more apparent as more research is being done on the drinks.
Wouldn't this be interesting if Starbucks did this? I can imagine there'd be questions as well. Let us know how'd you feel if a ban like this happened in Tuscaloosa!
