Most teams would have been thrilled with the signing class Alabama finished with on Wednesday, but it wasn't the ranking that fans have become familiar with while Nick Saban has been in charge.

The Crimson Tide landed two more five-star prospects but only had 20 total signees as the evening rolled around in Tuscaloosa. The class had plenty of star power and ranked in the top seven on every major recruiting website, but that ends a long run of top-two finishes for this Alabama program.

Head coach Nick Saban held a press conference as National Signing Day came to an end to talk about his class for the first time and evaluate the coaching staff's performance in this recruiting cycle. Among the topics he discussed included positions of need and how they were addressed, the plan at quarterback after not signing a scholarship player at the position, and his specific thoughts on a number of players.
