Reminder – Freeze Warning – Wind Advisory
Just reminding you that the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning from 3 am Tuesday until 10 am Wednesday.
There is also a Wind Advisory in effect from tonight from 11 pm until 5 pm on Tuesday.
This is for portions of central, east-central, northeast, northwest, and west-central Alabama.
What does this all mean?
- Much colder temperatures, right now at the time of this blog (945p) it is 62 degrees, and the low tonight will drop 30 degrees.
- Wednesday morning temperatures will be between 17 and 21.
- Winds will range between 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
- According to the National Weather Service the timeline for the potential for a brief wintry mix is between 6 am to 9 am
For tonight, the low will be around 31, and we are expecting showers. The winds will pick up as well, with possible wind gusts up to 30 mph. On Tuesday, there will be a chance of rain showers and sleet. Then a slight chance this will transition into freezing rain and sleet in the morning. The high for tomorrow is 41, and tomorrow night the low will around 21.
