A bouncer was shot Monday night outside the High Tide 2.0 bar near Tuscaloosa's Strip, according to a report from WVUA 23.

According to station reporter Chelsea Barton, police have one suspect in custody. At this time, the bouncer's condition is not known.

The High Tide Bar is on Red Drew Avenue, where it opened in 2010 as Horny's Bar & Grill. It rebranded to the High Tide Bar three years later, but the establishment's business license was revoked in August 2016 after Tuscaloosa Police logged dozens of cases of minors being allowed inside and served drinks.

The bar reopened as the High Tide 2.0 in January 2017 and has operated as such since then.
