See New Video Of Big Alligator Spotted Near Fosters, Al

We have another Gator sighting to report in the Tuscaloosa area. This time there is video, courtesy of Willard Davis Broughton.

A large Gator was recently spotted, and captured on video, on Highway 11 just a mile north of Fosters, Alabama. The gator was seen just north of the park, in a wooded area.

It seems there have been an increase in Gator sightings and stories in the West Alabama area. A twelve foot Gator was recently found dead on the railroad tracks off 35th Street in Tuscaloosa.

My unscientific Gator research reveals gators are in their summer breeding season. Gators are much more active in the summertime. They are looking for....well you know. They are in the mood i suppose.

I have a friend who somehow ended up with a baby Gator as a pet, and then released it into the river. Bad idea for sure. Gators as pets and releasing them in local rivers, lakes, and pinds.
