Seth McLaughlin signed his letter of intent to join the Alabama Crimson Tide today. December 18 is the first day high school seniors can officially sign with their new college programs. McLaughlin is a three star center out of Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. He is ranked as the ninth best center in the country and the 48th overall prospect in the state of Georgia by 247sports.

McLaughlin stands at 6’4” and 270 pounds, the Tide offered him a scholarship in May of 2018 and he committed in March of 2019. He helped lead the Buford Wolves to a 5A state championship in Georgia. McLaughlin was also offered a scholarship by LSU, Auburn and Michigan.

McLaughlin made news recently by offering Nick Saban homemade oatmeal creampies during his recent in-home visit. He was primarily recruited by offensive line coach Kyle Flood and defensive backs coach Charles Kelly. McLaughlin will enroll at Alabama in January for the upcoming spring semester.
