It's Christmas time for heaven's sake! Not only thieves at Christmas time, but brazen thieves in broad daylight! This is happening more and more in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and RadarOnline, a young teen girl was allegedly kidnapped in Alabama and then taken across state lines. The young girl reportedly met someone named Colby Jordan in Houston County, Alabama. Houston County, of course, is the county with it's biggest city being Dothan, Alabama.
I wish violent crimes were not an everyday occurrence in Alabama. Wish in one hand, and, well, you-know-what in the other hand....and see which one fills up first. As we get ready for a new year, the violent crime statistics are released for review. This research is from the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting stats on violent crime and property crime.
As a father of two little girls (they will always be little to me) this story is as scary as it gets. Authorities in Alabama are calling a 12-year-old girl a hero, and we all should do the same. Kidnapped and being held for a week, against her will.
Foster it and take care of one of the only relationships that will always be around even when a spouse runs out on you. These Alabama siblings will be close forever, I am willing to bet.

We all did. The recent saga in North Alabama with Vicky White, the jailer, and Casey White, the murderer, has captivated lots of us.
From the word GO, it was obvious what was happening. A female guard/jail official and a male inmate not showing up for court or doctors appointments.
She formerly studied in Tuscaloosa while financially supporting Al Qaeda.
Now, she will do time in a federal prison.
Alaa Mohd Abusaad, 26, was sentenced to seven and a half years plus ten years on supervised release.
PORCH PIRATES. What a name. Is that what you would want to be called? Apparently, more and more of them have been striking in West Alabama and Alabama in 2021/2022. It appears to be at an all-time high in Alabama, according to ALEA. In fact, folks have been offering "tips" on how to protect your merch from Alabama porch pirates.
