Tuscaloosa Man Arrested in Sexual Assaults Involving Children
A team within the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit specifically dedicated to investigating sexual assault has arrested a 35-year-old man who allegedly victimized children.
According to a release from Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the VCU, Joshua Earl Crimm was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age and one count of first-degree sodomy.
Kennedy said no details will be released in the incident to protect the privacy of the victim.
Crimm was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a combined bond of $120,000.
Kennedy said because of the nature of the assaults, there may be other victims and anyone who may have been a victim or knows of any possible abuse by the suspect should contact the Violent Crimes Unit at 205-464-8690.
