Next to marching band season (also known as football season in Alabama) and Christmas, everything about the Autumn season makes me happy. Pumpkin spice, harvest season, being thankful, Halloween, my birthday, and more give me joy.

Autumn, or some call it Fall, kicks off September 22 and ends December 21. I think I like this season so much because I never experienced it while growing up in Florida. Something about scary moves didn’t hit right when it was 90 degrees outside.

I like scary movies, but I have a rule that we have to watch them during the daytime. If I watch them at night, every light in the house will be on. Just know that. But, it got me to thinking why we southerners do not belong in Horror movies.
