A woman tried to rob an Alabama Bank on Wednesday Morning (6/6), with a rather uncommon weapon used in bank robberies......The woman's very own body!
The attempted robbery happened at the Regions Bank in Forestdale on Tomahawk Road. According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Randy Christian, deputies responded to a call that a black female had entered the bank and handed the manager a note, which was a demand for $6,000. The demand also added that if that manager complied with the request, he would be treated with a sexual favor by the robber. However, if that request was denied, the robber would claim that the manager had sexually assaulted her.

Christian added, "I don't think I have ever heard of an attempt to rob a bank quite like this, Our deputies were on the scene very quickly and saved this employee from something. I'm not sure exactly what but we saved him from something."

The woman was taken into custody by police, and his currently awaiting formal charges in the Jefferson County Jail.
