It's a question that has plagued many a southerner. The debate still rages on. Families not talking over a simple question:

Sweet tea or unsweet tea.

Look I'll just outright say it, I'm on the sweet side. The other day when I ordered a sweet tea and got unsweet, my face probably looked like I had just seen a ghost.

That or I smelled something funky but we continue on.

That brings up the following question: Who thought of unsweet tea? Normal tea just tastes...I guess weird is the best way to describe it.

Flavored teas are also pretty fantastic if we're being outright honest. I'm partial to peach or raspberry tea if I'm getting a flavored one.

I understand there are people that have to drink unsweetened tea for a multitude of reasons. But those who drink it because they can...why?

It feels like there's no taste to it. Kind of like drinking water. And personally, I'll just drink water if I want something with no taste.

Obviously, if you drink unsweet tea, this isn't to call you out or make fun of you. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes. It's like how some people pronounce tomato and potato in a different way.

It's just weird is what I'm saying. And yes what makes us weird also makes us who we are.

So now I turn it over to you dear reader. How do you prefer your tea? Sweet or Unsweet?
