With the global COVID-19 pandemic affecting college athletics this fall, the Southeastern Conference announced the Alabama volleyball team's new schedule for the 2020 fall season. The Crimson Tide will play a conference only schedule this fall consisting of eight matches this fall against Missouri, Florida, Georgia and LSU.

The fall season will begin on Oct. 16 and will last for six weeks. Alabama will compete against each opponent twice in a given weekend and will take two off weekends to make up the given schedule.

There will be no general admission for the volleyball games this year, instead fan attendance will be limited at Foster Auditorium to a coaches and players pass list only. Guests will be required to sit in specified seating and will be required to wear a mask unless eating or drinking.

The SEC will put out dates for spring competition at a later date after the NCAA makes final decisions on conducting spring championships.

The Alabama fall volleyball schedule is as follows.

  • vs. Missouri in Tuscaloosa
    • Saturday, Oct. 17 11 a.m.
    • Sunday, Oct. 18 1 p.m.
  • at Florida in Gainsville
    • Friday, Oct. 30 6 p.m.
    • Saturday Oct. 31 TBD

    • Sunday Nov. 8 1 p.m.
  • vs. LSU in Tuscaloosa

Last season the Tide finished with a 12-17 overall record and a 4-14 record against SEC opponents. This will be the second full season under head coach Linsey Devine. Devine took over in Tuscaloosa after becoming the winningest coach in East Tennessee State history.
