The tradition of Alabama QB's going the extra mile to help out those in need has continued.

Tua Tagovailoa launched his brand new charity last week, and Jalen Hurts made a $30,000 donation to help the family of a cancer patient.

Mac Jones has developed a close friend of his own in recent weeks, with 13-year-old Tervelle “Xavier” Lee Jr.

Jones shared a heartfelt video on Twitter, detailing the story of how he met Zay.

Lee is battling Pleomorphic Sarcoma, a form of muscular cancer.

According to Rick Karle of WVTM 13 Birmingham, Lee has been at the USA Children's & Women's Hospital in Mobile for the last 45 days.

The two met during the Senior Bowl, where Jones promised to give Lee a pair of white Gucci slides

Not only did Jones deliver on his promise, but last week he got the chance to visit Zay and his family in the hospital, giving him an autographed football that said "Next time we play we play together".

This isn't the first time Jones has brought hope to a family. He surprised UA freshman Victoria Ray with an autographed Alabama Football after she was seriously injured in a car crash.

So far the GoFundMe page for Lee has raised over $10,000 and has been shared on social media by over 1k people, including Jones who has the link in his Twitter and Instagram bio.
