What Can Fans Expect To See in Orlando When Alabama Plays Louisville?
After getting used to trips to Dallas and Atlanta for season openers, Alabama fans will be making the trip to Orlando on the first week of the 2018 season.
The Crimson Tide opens its title defense against the Louisville Cardinals at Camping World Stadium and it will be the program's first game in Orlando since the beatdown at the Capital One Bowl in 2011. That year's win over Michigan State didn't mean a whole lot at the time, but it turned out to be one of the most impressive performances of the Nick Saban era.
Now the Tide turns its attention to Louisville for a neutral site non-conference game that will enjoy a primetime national broadcast. There will be a lot to do before and after the game, but where do you start?
Travis Reier of Southern Fried Sports brought on Orlando resident and former Alabama alum Jordan Eichenblatt to give fans a rundown of all that will be happening on that busy weekend plus a list of foods you might want to check out. Listen to that conversation in the video at the top of the page and tell us what you have planned for Alabama's season opener.
